CINEMA: The Marvels, Carol Danvers, Kamala Khan and Monica Rambeau work wonders in a new cosmic trailer

While the series Disney+ Secret Invasion with Nick Fury will come to an end next week, it is the next feature film mcu which has just been entitled to a new trailer as part of the San Diego Comic-Con 2023, The Marvels. This team up galactic reuniting on screen Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) and Kamala Khan aka Miss Marvel (Iman Velani) showed up for the first time in April with a first trailer who set the tone, so it’s no surprise that this new preview comes to bring more details about the scenario and in particular its female antagonist who will make life difficult for our heroines.

As with the previous trailer, the song Intergalactic of the Beastie Boys was reused, to believe that it will appear in the soundtrack of the project at this rate. The antagonist camped by Zawe Ashton is therefore called Dar Bennhas a grudge against Captain Marvel and will attack all the planets serving as his homeincluding the Earth, well aided by Kree Accusers. We see her equipping herself with a bracelet identical to the one worn by Miss Marvelwhich she will bring into resonance with her Universal Weapon. It will be a priori the scriptwriting spring explaining the entanglement of the powers of the three protagonists. Incidentally, we now have confirmation that Carol can absorb light, while Monica sees it (it’s probably much more complex than that) and Kamala is able to give him physical form.

Carol Danvers, aka Captain Marvel, has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and exacted revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences see Carol carrying the burden of a destabilized universe. When his duties land him in a freakish wormhole tied to a Kree revolutionary, his powers intertwine with those of Jersey City super-fan Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel and Carol’s niece, now an astronaut for SABER, Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must team up and learn to work together to save the universe as “The Marvels.”

Finally, a promotional poster was also shared, highlighting the trio giving its name to the film, but also the character of Samuel L. Jackson and a whole gang of “cats” including Goose THE Flerken. The Marvels is expected in theaters on November 10, 2023 across the Atlantic. You can find the previous adventures of his characters on Disney+whose subscription costs €8.99 per month or €89.90 per year.
