Cities Skyline 2 was originally scheduled to release in spring 2024 for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. However, the development studio has now announced a new release date for the console versions.
As Colossal Order revealed in a forum post, the new plan is to release a release build in October. However, the development studio does not currently want to announce a specific release date.
In addition to this information, the post also revealed new details about the upcoming expansion (“DLC”) “Bridges and Ports”. Colossal has announced that the release date will be postponed to 2025.
For now, the team wants to focus on improving bass playing and modding tools. In the coming months, the focus will be on free patches and updates before the development studio turns its attention to paid content again.
