Groundwater as a new feature

A new feature in Cities Skylines 2, aquifers provide another source of water supply. However, if you use them more than they can replenish, they will eventually dry up. They are also prone to soil contamination.

Various buildings are available for water supply and waste water treatment. Whether it’s a water pumping station or a water tower for storing fresh water, you have many options. Sewage disposal can take place via sewage pipes or sewage treatment plants.

Water facility upgrades increase capacity and functionality, improve water treatment, and help fight pollution. The water and sewage info view allows you to highlight the location of water and sewage facilities.

Starting October 24th, you can provide water to your residents in Cities Skylines 2. The game will be released for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
