Already available on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch, Cities: Skylines is still one of the benchmarks of urban simulation games. Paradox Interactive And Colossal Order know it well, and will therefore extend its life cycle with a port on next genimproved over other console versions.
The PS5 and Xbox Series X|S edition will be called Cities: Skylines – Remastered, and will be available on February 15, 2023 for €39.99with a next gen upgrade free for owners of a PS4 or Xbox One version. It will offer all the content of the original, with the added bonus of 25 buildable tiles (16 more than on old gen), a quick selection tool, an improved user interface with precision placements, a distance indicator and optimized snapping options, a new environmental control panel to set time of day, rain, fog and environment coloring, a map editor, and more graphical details.
Bonus, Cities: Skylines – Remastered will unlock the PS4 or Xbox One versions if you don’t already have them, and include the expansion After Dark. Others DLCs will be offered for a fee in the coming months. You can get Cities: Skylines from €30.53 on Amazon.co.uk.
