Three weeks in advance, Citroën launches orders for its next electric flagship

Citroën’s new ë-C3 has everything to shake up the electric market, or at least to give it the boost it deserves. The vehicle promises to meet the expectations of the French market, with the promise of a range (WLTP cycle) of 300 km, and comfort which could help it stand out from its competing models.

The range is available in two versions. The ë-C3 “You” is available from 23,300 euros (or 99 euros per month for long-term rental), before ecological bonus, with several on-board equipment despite its entry-level status. Mounted on 16” tires, it is available in five distinctive colors. Add to this the electric leasing proposition at 54 euros per month, and there you have easy access to electric mobility.

The “Max” version of the electric C3 starts at 27,800 euros, or 179 euros per month for long-term rental, to meet even higher expectations. They are materialized by additional features such as navigation on a 10.25″ touchscreen tablet, wireless charging for smartphones and electrically folding exterior mirrors. The ë-C3 in any case promises to offer a pleasant electric driving experience , with its 83 kW (113 hp) engine.

Deliveries are planned before summer 2024

With its 44 kWh battery, the electric C3 is suitable for daily use, with the idea of travel comfort, thanks to its fast charging. In just 26 minutes, it can go from 20% to 80% capacity during 100kW DC fast charging. In addition, the 11 kW (three-phase) on-board charger is available as an option, offering very practical charging on both versions of the sedan.

By offering only two versions, You and Max, the chevron brand facilitates the online purchasing process, while guaranteeing competitive prices thanks to optimization of production and logistics. And to further move towards the democratization of electric mobility, a third version of the electric C3 is planned for 2025. It will be lighter in autonomy (200 km), but also in price (from 19,990 euros).

The first deliveries of the new ë-C3 are planned before summer 2024. There is not much left to wait.
