Clariant: Stifel lowers its price target

(CercleFinance.com) – Stifel maintains its ‘hold’ recommendation but lowers its price target from 20 to 18 Swiss francs on the stock of specialty chemicals group Clariant ‘due to a WACC (risk-weighted average cost) more raised’.

“Third quarter EBITDA is expected to increase by +15% compared to the previous year, with a limited impact from the macroeconomic slowdown”, estimates Stifel, which slightly raises its EBITDA forecast for 2022 to +21% year-on-year. .

“Clariant is the only diversified chemical company for which we do not see the need to reduce our guidance for 2023. We expect a modest decline in EBITDA of only -4% compared to the previous year,” adds Stifel.
