Claude is one of the mythical adventurers of Koh-Lanta. In four appearances, he has always been pole-proof and has never been eliminated by the other participants during the councils. However, in recent days, rumors of cheating have tainted the image of the candidate. Indeed, after the eviction of Teheiura for having twice eaten food provided by locals, new accusations are looming. According to a newspaper article The Parisian, certain adventurers would have taken part in clandestine dinners with inhabitants, and this on several occasions. The names of Claude, Sam, Laurent, Coumba, Jade and Phil were mentioned by Myriam Palomba, deputy director of the magazine Public, during her appearance on the program Touche pas à mon poste.
If Laurent Maistret and Coumba have already come out of silence, denying all these accusations, Claude had until then remained silent. Contacted by Public, he finally confided: “I will not respond to this vendetta against me! ”. The adventurer even asked “What we bring the evidence of these accusations“, can we read in the columns of the newspaper. He is convinced that these rumors are”intended to harm (him)“.
“It makes me laugh”
For his part, Laurent Maistret preferred to take this new controversy lightly. In an interview with TV Mag this December 9, 2021, the candidate admitted that the suspicions of cheating left him speechless: “It makes me laugh when I see all these rumors that I cheated by eating outside of the game because I lost the most weight and I felt it. Estimated, I believe I lost 10 pounds.“
