Claudia Obert: “Basically, I’m a ruin, I’m just glossing over myself”

Reality TV star Claudia Obert is celebrating her 60th birthday. In the interview, she reveals what goals she has set for herself.

Entrepreneur and reality TV star Claudia Obert celebrates her 60th birthday on September 24th. Shortly before, she brought her book “Life is a Party” (Riva) on the market, in which she talks about her wild experiences. In an interview with the news agency spot on news, Obert looks back over the past 60 years. She also reveals what she has planned for the coming years.

However, the entrepreneur is not in the mood for a big birthday party. “I lack the spirit for a big celebration because my mother recently died. I just don’t feel like opening a huge barrel because I miss my mother so much,” said Obert. But she still appreciates her special day, as she says.

Do you mind the number 60?

Claudia Obert: Nope, it’s no use. I can’t do anything about that anyway. Birthdays are good for me: the more of them, the longer I live. I just wonder where those 60 years have gone. What have I done? I still feel adolescent. But I find it tragic that my parents are now dead …

What would you like to say to your younger self?

Obert: Living in net pleasure. Always do what you feel like doing. Do not plan so much in life and when it is no longer possible, change direction. I can proudly say: Nobody tramples on me, no man, no father, no mother. There are always some people around you, but you determine your life, not the others. And: not the same man in the long run.

I’m just happy that I have my small company, twelve employees, three to five million in sales. On average, I can spend 1000 euros a day. These are not riches, but neither am I poor. I’m a little crazy, but that’s a good thing. I also have a blues every now and then, but c’est la vie.

In your book “Life is a Party” you write: “I have achieved and experienced pretty much everything that I have dreamed of.” What are your plans for the coming years? Do you want to approach your life in a more dignified way?

Obert: I still want to advance my film, radio and television career. I’ve been writing books since I was three years old – I couldn’t even write then. I even have all of my old vowel books and stuff. I want to make a film out of this material. It should be called “Between the sheets”. The film is supposed to be about life itself. Similar to “The Wolf of Wall Street”, but then “The Milf of Wall Street”. Unfortunately, I’m not going to take place on Wall Street, if it were up to me I would be as tall as Jeff Bezos [57, Amazon-Gründer, Red.], but unfortunately I didn’t succeed.

But I’m already approaching it in a dignified manner. I wouldn’t feel like doing ten times what I’m currently doing. But I could do more on the bin. I do not draw on the full.

You end your book with the fact that the right person will still be sitting at “some counter”. Are you currently actively looking for a partner?

Obert: I’m always on the air, yes. I’m not desperately looking, but I’m happy when something comes up. I’ve also always loved flirting. For me, the main thing is: I want to take prey, not be the prey.

How do you keep fit in old age? What’s your beauty secret?

Obert: The psyche is very important. I am a free person. I never use an alarm clock, I always sleep in – that’s good. But I also help out. I recently had a forehead lift and an eye lift, which turned out to be bombastically good. I also use botox and hyaluron, but not too much. So that you can’t see it. Otherwise the furrows all go in like with Angela Merkel [67, Bundeskanzlerin]. I dont want that.

Basically, I’m a ruin, I’m just glossing over myself. I’m a cosmetics and massage junkie. I’m not 30 anymore, I would have liked to stop the clock. My arms just frown now, there’s not much I can do about that. But I still feel good all round. You have to love me for my humor, my ability to drink or my quick wittedness. But honestly, if I were a man, I wouldn’t feel like an old box like me. I don’t feel like 60- or 70-year-old men either, I prefer to get a call boy. Mine was 49 years old. But I don’t get young and tattooed either.

Is there anything you would never do in front of cameras?

Obert: I can’t be so drunk that I fall out of my role. I’ve never had to make great apologies in my entire life.

In your book you report that you “like to have a drink”, but you also write: “But sometimes I don’t drink anything for weeks.” Do you mind always being associated with partying and alcohol?

Obert: Nope, why? That’s cool, I see it positively. When I’m in the store, the champagne flows every day. My fridge is always full. Then people come and we drink together. Cups, fucks, business.

In “Kampf der Realitystars” you made it to the finals, but then got the short straw. How satisfied are you with the outcome of the show?

Obert: That was super cool, people liked to watch it. That’s what it’s all about: I want to reach the audience and continue to be booked by the broadcaster. For me the show was a complete success.

Who did you get along with least and who are you still in contact with?

Obert: I’m still in contact with some of them. Leon Machère [29, Webvideoproduzent] I found it quite good. He’s already invited me to eat steak. He also makes really great music. But unfortunately he didn’t come out of himself with “Kampf der Realitystars”. I also get on really well with Janine Pink [34, Darstellerin] from “Celebrities under Palms” and Sarah Kern [53, Designerin] from “Celebrity Big Brother”.

Also Evanthia Benetatou [29, Reality-TV-Star] is one of my friends. I am terribly generous. The two of us were once in Düsseldorf when she was heavily pregnant and a bit depressed. Then we bought a Gucci outfit for your child: rompers, shoes, hats and more. I don’t throw the money out, but when I’m in the mood, I just spend the money.
