Clémentine Autain “isolated” within LFI? His blunt response

A busy year 2023 full of twists and turns has just passed for Clémentine Autain. On February 1, 2023, she resigned from her mandate as regional councilor of Île-de-France. Three months later, in May, during the renewal of the office of the Insoumis parliamentary group in the National Assembly, theThe French MP decided not to participatelike François Ruffin or Alexis Corbière.

While Clémentine Autain and many members of La France Insoumise seek to emancipate oneself from the close guard of Jean-Luc Mélenchon, Opinion suggested, in an article published this Tuesday, January 2, 2024, that the politician would be “isolated” within the party. A rumor to which Clémentine Autain responded in the columns of the media: “My question is not whether I am isolated within LFI, but how to avoid becoming so in the country.” The year 2024 therefore already promises to be intense for the French MP.

Clémentine Autain deemed “too bourgeois”: these reflections that touched her

Last November, Clémentine Autain was a guest on the show Daily, broadcast on TMC. Faced with Yann Barthès, after having spoken at length about her career, the politician confided that she had a hard time with the fact that her son found her “too bourgeois“: “He grew up in Seine-Saint-Denis, in a REP+ college [réseau d’éducation prioritaire, NDLR] (…) He didn’t necessarily want to bring his friends home and one day – that’s what I said – he came with one of his classmates to the house. The child was looking at the books, he found that there were a lot of books and he said to me: ‘you must be very rich to have so many books'”, said Clémentine Autain. Before adding: “My son, on several occasions, did not want to bring his friends home, which sometimes saddened me”. Very rare confidences about his private life.
