A youngster suffered a fatal electric shock at Wiener Neustadt train station on Wednesday afternoon. The boy had previously climbed onto a wagon, according to police spokesman Raimund Schwaigerlehner.
Further details were initially unclear. The age of the person concerned was also not exactly known. Schwaigerlehner spoke of a 14- to 15-year-old boy. Several young people present were looked after by the crisis intervention team. Helpers set up a privacy screen because people were filming what was happening from a parking deck.
