PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones)–The CNP Assurances group announced on Friday that it had placed 500 million euros of bonds in its first Tier 3 subordinated issue. “These are seven-year bonds bearing interest at fixed rate of 1.25% until January 27, 2029,” the insurer said in a statement. “This issue constitutes Tier 3 regulatory capital in accordance with the Solvency 2 directive,” said CNP Assurances.
