(CercleFinance.com) – Coface announces the appointment of Hugh Burke as Managing Director of the Asia-Pacific region, effective April 1. Succeeding Bhupesh Gupta, he joins the executive committee and reports to the general manager Xavier Durand.
Hugh Burke joined Coface in 2016 as Commercial Director for the Asia Pacific region. Based in Hong Kong, he successfully led the region’s business transformation, which has seen record growth since 2018.
Before joining Coface, he was in charge of Aon’s credit insurance business in Asia. More broadly, Hugh Burke has held various senior management positions within leading specialist brokerage firms.
