(Boursier.com) — CoinShares International Limited, the European leader in alternative digital asset management, announces the launch of its hedge fund division, ‘CoinShares Hedge Fund Solutions’. “For the first time, CoinShares will make its offerings available to qualified U.S. investors through a range of private investment products, marking CoinShares’ expansion beyond the European base in which the company operated until then. CoinShares aims to establish itself as the leading player in the field of digital assets for institutional investors” comments the establishment.

CoinShares Capital LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of CoinShares and a registered broker-dealer with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), will conduct marketing activities to qualified investors in the United States in support of CoinShares Hedge Fund Solutions strategies and products.

To ensure the smooth deployment of the new division, CoinShares has appointed Lewis Fellas as head of CoinShares Hedge Fund Solutions. Lewis Fellas is an asset management veteran with 23 years of industry experience (including 7 in digital assets) and a broad set of skills that will help ensure the success of the new division. The latter will also rely on the recognized expertise of CoinShares’ trading and quantitative management teams.
