Colas: ministerial green light at the Flowell pedestrian crossing

(CercleFinance.com) – Colas, the road construction subsidiary of Bouygues, announces that it has just obtained the approval of the illuminated and interactive pedestrian crossing Flowell by the French Ministry of Transport, and can therefore launch its marketing.

The result of a Colas innovation and tested since 2019 at 18 sites, this marking system improves user safety in public spaces. It is the first dynamic horizontal signaling device authorized by the regulations in France.

This solution is installed and marketed (from 25,000 euros, installation included) in France by Aximum, a Colas subsidiary. Flowell is also experienced for other uses, such as securing cyclist crossings, guiding flows or modulating public space.
