Who doesn’t know them: Stylish fashion trends that look great on the catwalk but are simply not wearable in reality?! How good that cosiness prevailed in the fashion world in spring 2023. Unsexy? Are you kidding me? Are you serious when you say that! These looks prove it.

The jogging pants trend, which has become more and more popular in recent months, has already indicated that we are starting the new year much more comfortably than ever before. Natural, simple looks are not only in demand for the 2023 beauty trends, one thing is also in the foreground in fashion in spring: we have to feel comfortable in our clothes. A trend we like.

Comfort dressing is more than a baggy look

A cosy, flattering wardrobe, also known as comfort dressing, doesn’t always have the best reputation. Many associate it with nothing more than a jogger style and baggy look. But the Scandi girls show with their calm style that comfortable doesn’t have to mean bulky. Here are three examples of how feel-good clothes can be easily integrated into our style.

Knitted cozy suits

We really learned to love them in lockdown: cuddly, soft knitted suits. From premium to cheap – hardly any fashion segment seems to have expanded as much as knitwear. And that doesn’t mean wintry coarse knit sweaters, but thin knitwear as a trouser-sweater ensemble, as a maxi skirt or dress set. The selection is huge and the styles are increasingly becoming the focus of stylish street styles. You can see them in all colors at Copenhagen Fashion Week, because who said knitwear always has to be beige, cream or brown?!

Pants too tight? No thank you!

In the ’00s, pants couldn’t be tight enough or sit low enough on the hips. The result: kidney and pelvis problems, deep impressions and you didn’t really feel comfortable in the models either. Although hipsters are back, at least the days of love handles seem to be over. We’re buying our pants one size bigger this year. Baggy pants give our look more street cred and can be perfectly combined with classic pieces of clothing such as blazers and chunky knit sweaters. Comfortable and stylish!

Blast from the past – teddy jackets are back

We loved them when we were kids: fleece teddy jackets. And that is mainly due to the fact that they are so incredibly soft and warm – simply the perfect companions in winter. Fleece has been banned from our closets for a long time, but now it’s making a comeback. Shacket and fake fur coats have had their day. Colorful designs in particular really spice up the mostly color-neutral winter wardrobe. Just put on baggy jeans, a hoodie and a fleece jacket and you too will look as stylish as model Jan Baiboon at the Chanel Show.
