Comments on the game – LASK trainer Sageder: “Unfortunately no request concert”

Done! After a hard-fought 1-1 draw with the Bosnian soccer champions Zrinjski Mostar, LASK is in the group stage of the Europa League.

Thomas Sageder (LASK trainer): “Cool team performance. We had to get a lot beyond fighting. Although a few didn’t want to believe it, our opponents were really good and demanded everything from us. My team pushed themselves to the limit and we’re just overjoyed to have made it into the Europa League group stage. Unfortunately, it is not a request concert. Our opponent was really motivated, very aggressive and very grippy. We had to fight our way into the game. I’m proud of my boys, they fought to the end.” Robert Zulj (LASK captain): “Huge success for us, for the team and the whole club. It was an incredibly intense game, not a nice game. We could have played better. Our goal was to get into the Europa League group stage and we did it. That’s why we’re very happy. It’s important that we react as a team. We did that again today, so I’m incredibly proud of the team.”
