Companies want simplified procedures and an administration that listens

The government consultation of entrepreneurs, at the end of 2023, as part of the future Pacte II simplification bill, shows a plebiscite by business leaders for simplified procedures and a more attentive administration, its designers indicated on Wednesday .

In addition to field meetings and consultation with professional federations, since mid-November, the Minister of the Economy has launched a major online consultation “Entrepreneurs: what concrete measures to simplify your life?”.

More than 29,000 people responded, 5,447 proposals were made, of which 4,442 were valid, collecting a total of 734,000 votes, according to the site make.org, specializing in large-scale consultations on democracy subjects.

A third of the respondents (31%) are managers of very small businesses, 17% are self-employed, 11% are managers of SMEs, 9% are liberals and 1% are managers of large companies.

Men and those aged 45-64 are rather over-represented among voters, as in the population of business leaders.

“Approaches and procedures” are the subject of 32% of validated proposals”, far ahead of the next theme of “standards and regulations” (8%).

In total, 23 ideas are “popular”, according to make.org, in particular “simplifying approaches and procedures to facilitate business management”, “extending the methods of contact with the administration, while retaining oral exchanges”.

A proposal like that of Clotilde, 58 years old, judging that “we must simplify the administrative formalities of companies, particularly with simpler and user-friendly online forms”, for example received 89% of votes in favor.
