After two years of limited editions due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the TF1 program “The song of the year” was back in large outdoor concert format. But the party was spoiled by several cases of sting attacks during the recording of the program. They targeted the public and a security guard.

It’s a big celebration of French television and music that is turning into a news item. Toured on Friday and broadcast on Saturday evening, the TF1 program The song of the year crowned the title of Amir Retinawhich succeeds I go by Florent Pagny and Patrick Fiori. But this is unfortunately not what we will remember from this evening. 14 complaints for sting aggression were filed after the filming of the show-concert.

A man charged

The concert took place outdoors in front of more than 16,000 people. A security guard, who is among the 14 alleged victims, was hospitalized in the evening. A 20-year-old man was indicted for “aggravated violence by weapon and by premeditation”. He denies the charges against him. For each complaint filed, blood and urine samples were taken to try to determine whether a product had been injected.

Cases of sting attacks have multiplied in recent months. Young people report feelings of having been injected with products during parties in nightclubs, bars or festivals. Since the end of March, nearly 350 complaints have been filed.
