A big touch of madness is obviously preparing to land on Nintendo Switch. A completely crazy compilation was revealed in advance this weekend.
The Nintendo Switch has stood out throughout its existence thanks to its quality exclusives. If its successor is clearly on the way, the hybrid console continues to expand its catalog with the help of productions already released elsewhere. Outer Wilds, widely requested by fans of independent games, will arrive in a few days. On the other hand, it seems that almost the entirety of one of the craziest video game licenses is coming to Nintendo Switch.
Six Borderlands games on Nintendo Switch?
Six crazy games and all of their DLCs will bring their touch of madness to Nintendo Switch. The USK, the German classification body, has indeed listed the famous Borderlands Collection: Pandora’s Box on Nintendo Switch this weekend. Only one month after the surprise release of the third opus on the console, the following games and all of their content, both free and paid, would be about to arrive in an ultimate compilation:
- Borderlands
- Borderlands 2
- Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel
- Tales from the Borderlands
- Borderlands 3
- New Tales from the Borderlands
Only Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, released last year, is therefore absent, as was the case for the recently released PlayStation and Xbox versions. Again, 2K’s goal is to allow Nintendo Switch players to experience the Borderlands universe in almost its entirety, although each of the games is already available on the console in one way or another. Does this mean there is hope for the spin-off around the most explosive character in the franchise? Probably, but there’s no evidence yet.
If the Borderlands Collection Pandora’s Box has leaked on Nintendo Switch, nothing has yet been made official. We will therefore wait for confirmation from the publisher, even if this type of leak suggests an imminent announcement. If we rely on the price on PS5 and Xbox Series, the compilation should cost around €149.99 on the hybrid console. And for the rest of the license? An employee recently mentioned on his LinkedIn account a certain Borderlands 4, but also Tiny Tina in Wonderlands 2. It therefore seems that Gearbox is working on a few projects in parallel. The third opus having been released for four years now, it is not surprising that the studio is already working on the continuation of its successful license.
