Completely exhausted – Lost the path: Pensioner rescued from Schneeberg

An 82-year-old pensioner was rescued from Schneeberg in Lower Austria on Friday night. The local man climbed up from the Weichtalhaus at about 4 p.m. via the Ferdinand-Mayr-Weg to the Kienthalerhütte.

In the darkness he lost his way and got into the nearby Weichtalklamm, reported the Reichenau mountain rescue service in a broadcast. The forces found the uninjured but completely exhausted Lower Austrian below a forest road. He was taken to the hospital.
