The next PS5 game from one of the best PlayStation studios, by far the most creative of all, is revealed in part through a job offer.
Sony Interactive Entertainment is working on many PS5 games that have not yet been announced or properly revealed. However, according to rumors from different sources, some of them could be the subject of a presentation during a PlayStation Showcase or a big State of Play during the month of May. Knowing that the manufacturer has already organized events during this period, it is not impossible. Meanwhile, first-party studios are working hard to feed PlayStation 5 players who are hungry for exclusives.
A new PS5 franchise from a great studio
All PlayStation first-party studios are on at least one new single-player or multiplayer PS5 game. Even if the Japanese firm has reduced the scales on PlayStation 5 service games, certain GaaS titles are still planned, although we do not know which ones precisely. It’s all the more vague since certain studios were affected by layoffs like Naughty Dog, Insomniac Games or Media Molecule, and certain plans were able to evolve after these changes. After Dreams, the English studio aims to turn to a new license, which is excellent news when we know the boundless creativity of MM. “Work closely with the programming team to define and defend requirements and technical standards for new Media Molecule intellectual property” reveals a job posting for a senior programmer. What will be the nature of this PS5 game from Media Molecule? As of now, there is no clue as to whether this will be a purely solo experience, in virtual reality, or even a mixture of solo and creation. Despite the recent layoffs, Media Molecule therefore still seems to have the confidence of the manufacturer to take risks with an unprecedented franchise.
