(CercleFinance.com) – The European Commission announces that it has approved the acquisition of Wasco Group, based in the Netherlands, by Rexel Développement.
Wasco specializes in the distribution to professional customers of products and services related to electrical systems.
Rexel is mainly active as a distributor of sanitary and air conditioning products as well as spare parts.
The Commission concluded that the proposed acquisition would not raise competition concerns, given its very limited impact on the structure of the market.
