King Charles III would like to return to public duties as soon as possible

The king’s doctors advise Charles III. Accordingly, he will not carry out any public tasks during this time, but he will continue to devote himself to state business and official office work.

“The King is grateful to his medical team for the rapid intervention that was possible thanks to his recent procedure at the hospital,” the statement continued. Charles “remains positive about his treatment and looks forward to returning fully to his public duties as soon as possible.” He decided to make the diagnosis public to prevent speculation. He also hopes that this step will “contribute to the public’s understanding” of all people around the world who are affected by cancer.
