Kate’s first fixed appointment after her operation was apparently announced too hastily. The royal family is said to be upset.

The British Ministry of Defense has Catherine, Princess of Wales, 42, apparently planned too early. As reported by The Telegraph, among others, the authority wants to remove a statement from the website that announced that the Princess of Wales would take part in the Trooping the Color military parade. This was announced “without the approval of Kensington Palace,” the report says.

Catherine, Princess of Wales, has not yet confirmed her appearance

There was “confusion” on Tuesday (March 5) after the army announced that Kate would be at the parade in June. Kensington Palace was surprised by the announcement and has not yet confirmed the participation of Prince William’s, 41, wife. The royal is currently recovering from abdominal surgery for which she was hospitalized in January. She has not taken on any public duties since Christmas.

Participation is planned

The Princess’s participation in Trooping the Color is planned, reports The Telegraph, citing insiders, but the palace will not make the official announcement until a final decision has been made.

According to the report, the Ministry of Defense allegedly angered the royal family’s employees with its premature statement. Especially since it was the first event announced for the Princess since she stepped away from official duties to recover following her January 16 surgery. The newspaper quoted a source as saying that Kensington Palace and “no one else” confirmed the Prince and Princess of Wales’ presence at events.

When is Kate coming back?

It can be assumed that Catherine will take part in public events again before the military parade in June. Kensington Palace said after her procedure at a London private hospital in January that she would be out until Easter and would have to reschedule all appointments made until then. Last Monday, Prince William’s wife was seen with her mother Carole Middleton, 69, in a car near Windsor Castle for the first time after the operation. Footage available to the US celebrity portal “TMZ” shows Kate wearing sunglasses in the passenger seat while her mother drove the car.
