Contract signed – Dankl wants to donate part of the political salary

Kay-Michael Dankl and the other KPÖ-Plus candidates signed a “contract with the Salzburgers”. They want to donate part of their political income to the people of Salzburg in need.

The KPÖ Plus with top candidate Kay-Michael Dankl does without a classic election campaign conclusion. Instead, Dankl and his comrades-in-arms concluded a “contract with the people of Salzburg” on Thursday at the “Neue Mitte Lehen” in the city of Salzburg. In it, the candidates undertake under oath to give part of their politician’s salary to Salzburg citizens in need if they make it into the state parliament. Dankl and Co. would therefore only keep an average skilled worker wage from the state parliament salary if they were successful on Sunday. For classification: the average skilled worker wage is currently 2,300 euros net, a state parliamentarian without an additional job currently receives around 3,200 euros net. Two other points are also part of the contract with the Salzburgers: the candidates undertake not to agree anywhere where housing subsidies are misused or state properties are sold. This could become relevant after the completion of the state service center currently under construction. The buildings should be used for the population.
