Easter is over and what’s piling up are eggs. Food editor Vivi tells you how you can use the eggs so that nothing goes bad.

And just like that, Easter is over again. What’s left is a lot of eggs, both cooked and raw. So that nothing gets lost, I’ll tell you, how you can use eggs and have prepared some delicious recipes.

Let’s clarify the most important thing first: How long do eggs last?

Depending on how fresh you buy them (directly from the farm or from the supermarket, where they can sit on the shelf for a few days longer), raw eggs are cooled around Stable for 28 days after layingbut at least until their best before date. They stay fresh for up to seven days if not refrigerated. If you still have raw eggs left over, you can use them to prepare many delicious recipes. From classic scrambled eggs, to omelettes and fried eggs, to cakes or other pastries, everything is possible. Raw eggs also go wonderfully with pasta or rice dishes, such as spaghetti carbonara or nasi goreng, and are a great topping for bread.
