In short, there are many items, but the catch, like similar games, like Minecraft, is that these items have a lifespan. Their durability is, unfortunately, not infinite, which will require you to keep an eye on their general condition, to prevent them from breaking.
Before reaching this famous point of no return, you can fix them a point not to be overlooked, especially for tools requiring rarer resources for creation.
Repair tools and items in Core Keeper
After a few minutes of play, you will be able to craft several objects, some of which are very, very useful, like the ” Salvage and Repair Station “, which we can translate as “Recovery and repair station”. You will need 5 wood and 5 brass to build it. This is where you can repair your itemsbut it comes at a cost, the “ Scrap Parts », recovery parts.
How do I get Scrap Parts/Salvage Parts?
To recover these precious parts, you only have to destroy weapons or objects that you do not use or no longer use, through the repair station. We advise you to do it, in particular, with the pickaxe or the basic shovel, since it only requires pieces of wood.
How to repair objects?
Then, once the Scrap Parts are in your possession, return to the Salvage and Repair Station, click on the hammer and on the weapon you want to repair. Again, we advise you to only do this on the higher quality tools and weapons, but also the fishing rod, if you have not unlocked the craft.
If, unfortunately, you destroyed a weapon or repaired an object that should not be, you can normally go back by pressing the “E” key (default).
