Core Keeper reaches 500,000 copies sold in two weeks

Available since March 8, 2022 on Steam, in early access, Core Keeper quickly won over players. The first figures were very good, with 250,000 copies sold in a short week. In two weeks, the half-million threshold is crossed, a great performance for an independent game. The Pugstorm studio has indeed indicated that it has sold 500,000 copies between March 8 and March 21which obviously made them happy.

Your Steam feedback and ratings have been incredibly valuable to us, helping us to constantly improve the experience.

Since then, several small updates have been deployed, and others will be in the coming weeks, before focusing on pure and hard content, to enhance the experience.

But Core Keeper is not only a success on Steam, in terms of numbers (a peak of 34,377 concurrent users has been recorded), since the game also stands out on Twitch. In two weeks, almost two million hours have been watched on the platform, allowing the community to grow little by little. At the height of the day, there are several tens of thousands of viewers, good statistics for such a game.

let’s remember that Core Keeper is a survival game combining exploration and crafting, in a cave. It is a perfect combination of mechanics that we find in Minecraft and Terraria to name a few. It is, for the moment, only available in early access, on Steam. However, you can buy it through our partner Instant Gaming, offering it to you for the sum of €8.49 instead of €12.99, i.e. a 35% reduction.
