Goosebumps moment in Geneva: Corinna Schumacher accepted a prize from the FIA on behalf of her husband Michael.
Rare appearance by Corinna Schumacher (51): The wife of the Formula 1 legend Michael (51) and mother of the new Formula 1 star Mick (21) accepted an FIA award yesterday on behalf of her husband in Geneva and spoke also about Michael, who has not appeared in public since a skiing accident in December 2013: "He loved racing", Corinna reports about Michael.
Corinna Schumacher added that he always had a big heart for people who needed something. Also the FIA boss Jean Todt (74), close friend of the family and head of the Ferrari team during the Schumacher era, agreed to that: "Michael was always ready to support anything that helps society." You need people with leadership qualities and with passion.
At the annual award ceremony, Michael Schumacher was awarded the "President's Special Prize". His son Mick, who will take a seat in an F1 cockpit of the Haas team in the coming season, also received a prize: He received the trophy for his championship title in Formula 2.
