In Regensburg, the police had to break up a corona party again. One guest hid on the roof without further ado – and never came down.

The measures to contain the corona crisis should actually have become understandable to everyone after a year in the pandemic. Just this week, Chancellor Angela Merkel announced the extension of the lockdown – and its tightening in several areas – after a long meeting with the federal states.

While the government once again warned the population at the press conference on Tuesday evening to please reduce contacts to a minimum, a boozy party was celebrated in Regensburg at the same time.

Illegal corona party – guest flees to the roof

Police were called to an apartment building on Tuesday evening after neighbors reported noise nuisance. In fact, the officials then surprised the 21-year-old resident at a party.

One of the guests then seemed to panic – and quickly decided to evade the situation when the police wanted to take the contact details of the celebrants. The escape, however, happened a little rashly: The 23-year-old climbed on the roof and wanted to hide there.

In his panic, however, the guest seemed to have suppressed two tiny facts: The roof turned out to be slippery, the young man clearly too drunk to be able to leave his hiding place again. So now he was stuck.

The police finally had to alert the fire department to save the party guest from the roof. He was safely born from his hiding place via a turntable ladder. That was certainly not how the man had imagined his departure.

Now a full penalty should await all guests. The police are said to have finally recorded the personal details and have now initiated an administrative offense against the Infection Act.
