CONTAMINATIONS
This Monday, April 18, 25,492 cases have been identified in France.
A figure traditionally low on Monday because it takes into account the results of the day before, when many laboratories and pharmacies are closed. The average of infections over the last seven days, which smooths out statistical jolts, stands at 116,852, against 117,664 on Sunday and 135,338 a week ago.
HOSPITALIZATIONS
Hospitals had 24,990 patients with Covid-19 on Monday, compared to 24,992 the day before and 24,205 a week ago.
Of these 24,990 patients, 1,635 were in critical care (which receives the most serious cases), against 1,589 on Monday April 11.
DEATHS
44 people have died in hospital from Covid-19 in the past 24 hours, for a total of 144,205 deaths since the start of the pandemic.
THE VACCINATION
On the vaccination side, 54.303 million people have received at least one dose (80.5% of the total population) and 53.40 have a complete vaccination schedule (79.2%), according to figures from the Ministry of Health.
