CONTAMINATIONS
13,483 cases of contamination have been recorded in the past 24 hours. With this figure, the seven-day average, which gives an idea of the real evolution of the epidemic, declines to 57,034 cases, against 57,500 on Sunday.
HOSPITALIZATIONS
French hospitals currently have 25,079 patients with Covid.
Among the patients in the hospital, 2,456 are taken care of in the critical care services welcoming the most serious forms.
DEATHS
232 people have died in the past 24 hours, compared to 52 the day before. In two years of epidemic, the Covid has caused the death of 138,367 people in France.
THE VACCINATION
Vaccination continues at a slow pace. According to figures from the Directorate General of Health, 54.20 million French people have received at least one dose (80.4% of the population), 53.22 million are fully vaccinated (78.9% of the total population) , and 38.97 million received a booster dose.
