Coronavirus in France: the results of this Saturday, January 22

CONTAMINATIONS

This Saturday, January 22, 389,320 contaminations were recorded in 24 hours.

HOSPITALIZATIONS

In the hospital, the number of Covid patients was 28,515 this Saturday, against 28,457 yesterday Friday. 1,994 new patients have been admitted in the past 24 hours.

Critical care services had 3,746 Covid-19 patients this Saturday (with 214 new entries), compared to 3,792 on Friday.

DEATHS

In 24 hours, 167 people succumbed to Covid-19 in hospital, bringing the total death toll to 128,514 (hospitals and nursing homes included) since the start of the epidemic.

THE VACCINATION

Since the start of the vaccination campaign in France, 53,802,773 people have received at least one injection (i.e. 79.8% of the total population) and 52,469,458 people have had a complete vaccination schedule (77.8% of the population total).
