Coronavirus in France: the results of this Wednesday, January 26

CONTAMINATIONS

This Wednesday, January 26, 428,008 contaminations were recorded in 24 hours.

HOSPITALIZATIONS

At the hospital, the number of Covid patients was 30,624 this Wednesday, against 30,189 yesterday. 2,816 new patients have been admitted in the past 24 hours.

Critical care services had 3,712 Covid-19 patients on Wednesday (with 292 new entries), compared to 3,741 on Tuesday.

DEATHS

In 24 hours, 255 people succumbed to Covid-19 in hospital, bringing the total death toll to 129,747 (hospitals and nursing homes included) since the start of the epidemic.

THE VACCINATION

While the vaccination pass came into effect on Monday, 53,864,492 people received at least one injection (i.e. 80.3% of the total population) and 52,509,014 people have a complete vaccination schedule (78.3% of the total population). In addition, 34,092,343 people received a booster dose.
