Côtes-d’Armor Three dead in the crash of a tourist plane


A passenger plane crashed Sunday morning after taking off at Saint-Brieuc airport, killing three people, the Codis des Côtes-d’Armor announced on Sunday.

Among the victims are the pilot aged around 50 and a passenger couple, aged between 20 and 30, according to the same source, reporting about twenty rescuers present at the scene of the accident. An investigation is opened to determine the causes.

Another plane crash on Saturday in Morbihan

The accident took place around 11 a.m., the aircraft crashed in a field near the airport, according to France Bleu. He had just taken off when he had to land in an emergency and crashed after hitting an embankment, according to local radio, which adds that the tourist plane belonged to the flying club.

This incident comes the day after another plane crash that took place in Plouhinec, Morbihan, on Saturday morning. The sixty-year-old pilot died after feeling unwell and it was his passenger who took control of the aircraft. She was uninjured and miraculously escaped after dodging houses and causing the plane to crash into a pond.
