Traditionally, women are the main crowd at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire, UK, on Ladies Day. Sophie von Wessex, 57, did not miss the event on Thursday, June 16, 2022.
Countess Sophie von Wessex draws everyone’s attention
Prince Edward’s wife, 58, wore a robe that drew everyone’s attention. She appeared in a colorful, floral V-neck dress by Suzannah, which drew attention with a floral pattern in predominantly blue, white and red tones. She paired it with a beige clutch and strappy pumps, an aquamarine necklace and silver earrings.

Hat on Ladies Day in the foreground
On Ladies Day, the third day of Royal Ascot every year, women usually wear extremely flashy, fancy and oversized hats. Sophie von Wessex also opted for a slightly larger version in white and pink that was bent to the side. Princess Anne, 71, and daughter Zara Tindall, 41, also attended Ladies Day.
