Coupe de France: eliminated by PSG, how much will the Pays de Cassel receive for its course?

The Coupe de France puts a little butter in the spinach of amateur clubs. The competition, open to all football teams in France, receives an allocation depending on the stage reached. 7,500 euros are awarded for the losers in the 7th round, 15,000 euros in the 8th round, then 30,000 euros in the 32nd final. With each past turn, these sums accumulate. For clubs that do not play in Ligue 1 and have managed to reach the round of 16, 102,500 euros in revenue are thus guaranteed.

Eliminated by PSG in the round of 16, fans from the Pays de Cassel will therefore receive the huge check for 102,500 euros. A financial boost to which the club can add the income of the match (tickets sold, refreshments etc.). And as a good Samaritan, Paris Saint-Germain has even decided to leave all of it to the Regional 1 club. The players from the Pays de Cassel will thus receive a nice bonus in reward for this fine career in the Coupe de France.

More than 2 million euros to the winner

And this endowment becomes very interesting from the round of 16 where the bonus reaches 70,000 euros. It’s 135,000 euros in the quarters, 280,000 euros in the semi-finals, 950,000 euros for the finalist and finally 1,500,000 euros for the winner.

The detail of the endowment according to the towers:

7th round: 7,500 euros

8th round: 15,000 euros

32nd final: 30,000 euros

Round of 16: €50,000

Round of 16: €70,000

Quarter-final: 135,000 euros

Semi-final: 280,000 euros

Finalist: 950,000 euros

Winner: 1,500,000 euros

In total, the winner of the event will receive 2,065,000 euros if it is a Ligue 1 club, or 2,087,500 euros if it is a club from a lower division. This season, the total prize money for the Coupe de France amounts to 11,930,000 euros. These amounts are equivalent to those of last season. In total, the allocation of the French Football Federation (FFF) to the clubs participating in the Coupe de France amounts to 11.9 million euros.

A surplus of motivation for the clubs which make this Coupe de France one of their priorities as the rounds go by.
