An improbable discovery. Stefanie and Dan Graham, a couple living in Florida (United States), were surprised to find no less than 80,000 bees behind the wall of their shower.
Alerted by the buzzing, the couple called on Elisha Bixler, beekeeper and social media star. During this intervention, the latter knocked down a wall, then fell on a giant beehive, extended over two meters high.

Healthy and safe bees
Once the beehive was discovered, Elisha Bixler did not exterminate its inhabitants. Indeed, the beekeeper managed to isolate the queen. The other bees were sucked up, then brought back, safe and sound, to his “How’s Your Day Honey” beekeeping farm.
On site, a large quantity of honey was collected. “It was everywhere, at least 45 kilos,” Elisha Bixler told The New York Times. This honey was used to feed the insects.
