This English term designates almost literally the fact is that your ex always hangs around you. However, he or she is not more directly in contact with you. Orbiting may be motivated by a desire for your ex to ruin your life.

The journalist from Man Repeller believes thatto be subject to orbiting is worse than being victim of ghosting. She also identified three reasons why your ex might be orbiting. Your ex follows your stories on Instagram and Snapchat, and likes your posts on Facebook to demonstrate his power. Your ex wants prevent you from turning the page. The other two reasons are that your ex orbits without being aware of it or the fact of wanting to keep you under the elbow. As psychologist Michelle Criminals explains to NBC News, “people want to stay important in your heads, it’s a way of remembering that we exist. It can also be a roundabout way of saying “hey, I’m here”hoping for reciprocal attention“.
