Courteney Cox and Johnny McDaid have made a rare appearance together. They showed up at the Brit Awards in London.

Courteney Cox (57) and her boyfriend Johnny McDaid (45) attended the Brit Awards in London on Tuesday evening (February 8). A surprise for fans: the couple is rarely seen together at events. For the awards ceremony, Cox paused her promotional tour of her latest film, Scream 5, to support her partner. He is a member of the British band Snow Patrol.

The couple presented Olivia Rodrigo (18) with the award for the best international song of the year “Good 4U”. The “Friends” star and the musician showed themselves in a similar look. Both wore black outfits. Cox combined a silk blouse with a velvet skirt. She wore statement earrings and a matching fringed bag.

Long distance relationship due to pandemic

The actress and the musician have been a couple since 2013. They were introduced to each other by none other than Ed Sheeran (30). He is a mutual friend of the two. In the early days of the corona pandemic, the couple was put to the test. Cox lives in California with her daughter Coco (17). McDaid, on the other hand, is originally from Northern Ireland and stayed in Europe.

To the Cox recently revealed to People magazinethat she still finds her boyfriend “really sexy” after eight years of relationship. He is a good listener. She had never met anyone more patient than him. “I love his heart, his intentions. His morals,” Cox said in the interview. He is extremely talented and obviously musical, but he is also a poet and writer. “And then he’s very attractive,” says his girlfriend.
