Covid-19: coverage of fixed costs extended to associations

The device was until now reserved for so-called lucrative companies.

Companies in the form of associations penalized by the health crisis will be able to benefit like the others from the assumption of their fixed costs, according to two decrees published Tuesday in the Official Journal.

Until now reserved for so-called lucrative companies, the system consists of two distinct aids: the aid “fixed costs rebound” which covers the period from January to October 2021, and the aid “fixed costs consolidationcovering December 2021 and January 2022. The first is reserved for associations created before January 31, 2021 and the second for those created before October 31, 2021. The associative enterprise must have lost at least 50% of its turnover on the reference period and justify a negative gross operating surplus (or EBE, a tool for calculating the profitability of the company) to be entitled to aid.

The aid will correspond to 70% of the operating loss of the company or 90% for small associative companies, indicate the decrees. Requests for assistance will be made online and must be completed before April 30. The system for covering fixed costs was extended in January to all tourism companies faced with the circulation of the Omicron variant, after having been reserved for a limited number of companies (events, indoor leisure, caterers, etc. .). The threshold for access to the device had also been lowered to 50% loss of turnover, against 65% previously.
