Covid-19: this country prohibits entry to unvaccinated people

This is a new step in the restrictions that different countries are putting in place across the world to stem the new wave of Covid-19 due to the Omicron variant. Several states have already tightened their entry conditions. For example, Denmark calls for a negative PCR test of less than 72 hours or an antigen test of less than 48 hours, even for people who have been vaccinated. The same goes for Sweden and Austria, for whom the time limit is 48 hours, regardless of the test.

For its part, Thailand has reinstated a 10-day quarantine until January 4 while the Netherlands is subject to strict containment and the United Kingdom has conditioned entry to its territory to travelers who may have a reason. imperative since December 18. But Finland has decided to go further. The Scandinavian country has thus indicated that foreign travelers not vaccinated against Covid-19, even with a negative test, will no longer be able to enter its territory as of Tuesday, December 28. According to government announcements, only foreign travelers with a negative Covid-19 test and who can prove a full vaccination or past infection can enter, the Interior Ministry said after a government meeting.
