In the Hautes-Alpes, the prefecture decided on Thursday to extend this same restriction to “snow fronts and in resort centers from December 31 and for a period of one month”.

Several ski resorts concerned in Savoie and Haute-Savoie

These new measures come in addition to those recently enacted in ski resorts by the neighboring departments of Savoie and Haute-Savoie. In Savoie, the wearing of a mask outdoors was in force in the thirty-eight ski resorts of the department since December 24 and will remain so unless extended until January 4.

In Haute-Savoie, a decree taken on November 30 makes this restriction mandatory in forty-six municipalities in the department, including several winter sports resorts, until January 4. Thursday evening, the prefecture of the department extended this restriction to 51 municipalities. All the municipalities concerned by the measure can be found on the sites of the prefectures.
