Bob throws in the towel? – The purported inventor of bitcoin, Craig Wright, seems at the end of its roll of lies. Tired of having to “justify” to his detractors to be the real Satoshi Nakamoto. Back to the burlesque story of the so-called creator of Bitcoin.
Craig Wright, tired of claiming to be the origin of Bitcoin?
Craig S. Wright (CSW) rose to prominence in 2015 after claiming to be the mysterious inventor of Bitcoin. For this, he had relied on blog posts talking about cryptocurrencies that he would have posted a few days before the publication of the first version of Bitcoin in 2009. It turned out later that these famous crypto-discussions would have been written years later, in 2013-2014, then backdated.
That didn’t stop Craig from forcing Bitcoin developers to put in for a while offline the bitcoin whitepaper. The one we now call Faketoshi even sued the person behind the Twitter account Hodlonaut. This one had indeed dared to say aloud what everyone thinks quietly. Namely that CSW is a crook, a “fraud”.
Indeed, Craig Wright has been, since 2016 and the beginning of his fight to show that he is Satoshi, unable to provide any evidence to confirm his allegations. He will even go so far as to pretend during the trial trampling on the hard drive containing the keys which would have allowed him to prove that he is Satoshi Nakamoto.
Nevertheless, Craig finally seems to get tired of trying to convince the whole world. In a recent post on Twitter, he appears to want to move on.

A philosophy far from that of the real creator of Bitcoin?
“The only validation I seek now is from my family and seeing my ideas taken to fruition and used by the whole world. »
Craig Wright then gets carried away in a lyrical flight on the fear inspired by Bitcoin to governments who are afraid of its transparency. Criminals would also fear Bitcoin’s ability to trace any transaction. And finally, he criticizes all wealth-hungry people who would hate Bitcoin’s core values.

The crypto ecosystem can therefore finally hope to no longer be harassed by a Craig Wright far from the spirit of bitcoin. Whose anonymity of its creator is one of the pillars on which this uncensorable network rests.
If Satoshi Nakamoto has made so many efforts to maintain his anonymity during all these years, it is certainly not to reveal his identity at the slightest opportunity. We’ll probably never know who is satoshi nakamoto and it’s probably better that way.
