Terrible traffic accident on Monday in Buch in Tirol (Schwaz district). A motorcyclist died. The victim is a 35-year-old German.
At around 9.40 a.m. on the B 171, the motorcycle driver was apparently no longer able to line up in time after an overtaking maneuver and collided head-on with an oncoming car. The biker died at the scene of the accident despite first aid from the emergency doctor. The driver of the car and his 58-year-old wife, who was sitting in the passenger seat, suffered minor injuries. The main road was closed in both directions for around two hours for the duration of the operation between Buch and Strass in the Zillertal.
