Crazy sprint! – Tesla Model S Plaid: full throttle in the 1020 hp hammer

You can actually call the plaid a hyperstromer. 1020 hp meet 2.2 tons curb weight. The manufacturer shouldn’t really need to cheat when specifying the sprint time: Tesla specifies 2.1 seconds for the 100 sprint, the colleagues from Auto Motor und Sport measured 2.48 seconds. The difference comes from the fact that Tesla deducts the so-called rollout, i.e. does not measure from a standing position but from rolling. This unusual practice is either hidden in a footnote or just dropped under the table.
