(CercleFinance.com) – Indosuez Wealth Management, the private banking subsidiary of Crédit Agricole, announces that it has signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake in the Belgian wealth and investment management house Degroof Petercam.
With client assets of €71 billion, Degroof Petercam has attractive positions in private banking in Belgium, Luxembourg and France, and in asset management, investment banking and securities services internationally. .
This acquisition project is carried out in partnership with CLdN, reference shareholder of Degroof Petercam, which would remain in the capital at approximately 20%. Completion of the transaction, subject to regulatory approvals, is expected in 2024.
