Four young women from Carinthia raise serious allegations against an older riding stable owner: The entrepreneur sexually molested them massively between the ages of 13 and 15 – among other things, buttocks and breast grabs were part of the “dealing” at his riding stables. For fear of losing the space for the horse or even the beloved animal itself, the girls remained silent for years. The first victim only filed a complaint after media reports about other sexual offenses in equestrian sport, others followed. Such cases show how important the regular use of the “crown” against sexual abuse is. Incidentally, the 63-year-old describes everything as “tall stories”. But the court sees it differently: The man was found guilty of sexual harassment, sexual coercion, abuse of authority and rape – final, because the Supreme Court recently confirmed the verdict . The only thing that is uncertain is how long the Carinthian will have to be in prison; the Higher Regional Court of Graz is still unconditionally deciding on his appeal to the imposed sentence of 30 months.
