2024 - Criminal minds: these key actors that you will find, or not, in the revival

To the delight of fans of Criminal Minds, the series will be entitled to a reboot, the release date of which remains unknown for the moment. If certain essential faces of the program will make their return in this new project, others, unfortunately, have passed their turn.

Did you dream of it? Paramount+ did it! The video-on-demand platform would have ordered, according to the Media TVLine site, a season of 10 episodes on the adventures of your favorite investigators. Small nuance, however, compared to the original program: the FBI agents will not deal with a new case per episode, as usual, but will be kept in suspense by the same case throughout the season. At the helm of this reboot, nothing new since it is Erica Messer, showrunner and executive producer of the program, who will resume service. As for the other side of the camera, it will be occupied by faces well known to TF1 viewers, such as AJ Cook (JJ in the series), Joe Mantegna (David), Aisha Tyler (Dr Lewis) , Kirsten Vangsness (Penelope) or even Adam Rodriguez (Luke).

On the other hand, – and you were certainly expecting it -, this reboot of Criminal Minds will be done without the very appreciated Matthew Gray Gubler (alias Spencer), who explained that he wanted to move on after playing his character on screen. for 15 seasons. Unfortunately, he’s not the only iconic face to miss out on this new project, as Thomas Gibson (Hotch) and Mandy Patinkin (Gideon) won’t be there either.. It is, of course, several years since the two actors had left the flagship program, but their return in this reboot would certainly not have displeased the fans.
