Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion gets off to a great start in Japan

Released on December 13 on all platforms, the remaster of the spin-off episode of one of the most acclaimed Final Fantasy by critics and players has made a very good start in terms of physical sales of the week at Japan. In effect, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion easily climbed into the top 5 of sales, and captured three places on the podium.

A reunion at the height of its glory

The latest physical sales statistics for the past week in Japan have just been revealed by Famitsu. Thanks to these, we can see once again the power of Nintendo licenses because we find again a Pokemon Scarlet/Violet top the charts for the fifth week in a row with 260,784 units sold, as well as a Splatoon 3 for the silver medal and its 68,927 units sold.

As for our good old Zack Fair, we find him just behind occupying the last three places in the ranking up to the Top 5 physical sales of the week. In effect, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion obtains the third, fourth and fifth place on the podium on the Japanese market.

In fact, we have the version nintendo-switch in fifth place with 48,527 units, followed by the version playstation4 and his 53,481 units for fourth place, and finally we find the version playstation5 Zack’s adventures for third place in the rankings with his 54,522 units sold.

Which gives us a total of 156,530 physical units sold to Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion only in Japan and on these platforms mentioned (without the Xbox therefore), thus making a very good start for our little Zack Fair and for the Final Fantasy license.

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion is now available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X | S
